Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay

12:15 - 13:00 Savor a delectable lunch as Oriental Sails cruises further along the limestone islands of Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, heading to Vung Vieng fishing village

Stop At: Vung Vieng Fishing Village, Phố 7, Tuần Châu, Thành phố Hạ Long, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam
13:00 - 15:30 Vung Vieng fishing village – one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen Here, you choose 2 option

– Option 1: Take a bamboo rowing boat trip around Vung Vieng Fishing Village

– Option 2: Take kayak and go kayaking by yourself with help and instruction of tour guide around the Village.

Return to Oriental Sails and have bath then relax as the sun starts to set. Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar (with surcharge) and on the sun deck while cooking demonstration is organizing.

08:30 – 15:30 Discover Bai Tu Long bay by one-day itinerary on our professional day boat.

– Cruise toward Tra San, Vung Ha Island where tourists can go kayaking, and catching beautiful sights and enjoy the wild, bewitching nature with many limestone islands, lovely small beaches.

– Have lunch on our day boat at Vung Ha area.

Very well organized trip. Not an issue, but... it is like 4 hours both ways on the shuttle to Halong Bay from Hanoi. Unless you fly there, which I don't even know if that is available, the van is the only way to go, but it is a day trip total coming and going. I'd also suggest staying in an Old District hotel. We stayed at the Marriott which ended up being a 50 minute cab ride in the crazy Hanoi rush hour traffic. The boat was great, good crew, attentive, clean and decent food. VERY organized time schedules, although my only complaint was the details for what was to happen during the trip wasn't real clear. The scenery is fantastic, although the smog/fog was pretty bad and we were unlucky in that it was pretty cool low 60's for a high during the day and overcast except for the last day. Kayaking was ok only, as it was rough waters and pretty cold. Not a lot of kayaking to be honest but we did stop at an incredible beach and with low tide was able to walk on a submerged 6 inches sand bar between islands... Was really awesome. Beautiful place and overall the trip was great. Very good value for the price.....

A great, relaxing unwind in a beautiful part of the world. Oriental Sails staff were wonderful, food was good accommodations were adequate. I only wish my room had been a bit further away from the Karaoke bar.
