Day 2: Thac Ba Lake motorbike tour to Ba Be lake in Bac Kan: 180 Km Homestay

Day 3: Ba Be lake motorbike tour back to Hanoi: 230 Km

Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi motorbike to Thac Ba lake: 180 km Homestay

8:00AM our team will come and pick you up to our garage station to take the motorbike we chose the day before and head to the northeast along the red river bank. Take in fresh air through the rice field and rural villages of northern Vietnam countryside. After about 2 hours we’ll find ourselves in the mountain roads we drive through the midland of Vietnam where farmers cultivate green tea and paper wood forest. Enjoy lunch halfway in a local restaurant and arrive to Thac Ba homestay of Red Dao minority at about 4:30pm. Take a boat ride to see life on hundreds of island scattering around the lake where locals farm their crops.

Day 2: Thac Ba Lake motorbike to Ba Be: 180 km Homestay

Today ride is a great motorcycle tour through the tropical forest on a rocky, bumpy routes through the highlands, jungle and pass by some interesting historical sites in Tan Trao district, Tuyen Quang province. After lunch in a little town we take the winding roads to the Ba Be lake.

Day 3: Ba Be lake motorbike back to Hanoi: 230 Km

We’ll have an early start today as we head south back to Hanoi. We take back roads to avoid the busy traffic and to get away from the highway. Arrive Hanoi at 5:30 PM.
