Day 1 Hanoi - Lang Son - Quang Uyen (L, D)

Our first day tour will be started by picking you up at your hotel and transfering to Lang Son province. We stop at Chi Lang Pass before driving 3 hours on the road which has come into the legend of Vietnam in the myriad resistance wars against the invasions from the north. There are separated rocky mountain peaks at both ends of the mountain ranges, which makes it more of deadly a ground for those passing through on the passage. Here you will have roughly an hour to walk around and explore the area around the Quy Mon Quan Gate. It is the northern gate , meaning "monster gate," after the Chinese invaders who entered Vietnam through this gate.

After lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang, continue your trip to visit Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe - an important historical site. In the evening you will get to enjoy dinner and overnight rest in a local homestay owned and operated by a local Nung family.

The farming tools made here are an integral part of the lifestyle which is evident in the surrounding rice paddies and fields. Nestled amongst these amazing landscapes is the breath-taking Ban Gioc Waterfall - natural wonders in the north. Scattered around Ban Gioc waterfall in an unexpected neat pattern, the rock platforms have separated the water masses into many currents like silver threads. The source of Ban Gioc waterfall is a calm and large river – Quay Son, adding to the feeling that everything seems like it was transported here from a 300-year-old painting made by a distinguished artist in the ancient Han dynasty of China. Once you’ve finished at the falls, it’s time to head over to Nguom Ngao Cave, an impressive limestone cave system. The entrance of the cave is in a valley surrounded by karst hills, with fields dotted around them. Sstalactites and stalagmite providing some interesting sights, and you pass some interesting rock formation.
