This was a good day out. We were picked up at our hotel and travelled to Bai Dinh to visit the Pagoda initially and spent approximately 2 . We stopped for lunch before continuing on to Trang An and spent approximately 2 hours in a flatboat sailing through a quiet picturesque river landscape, through caves and into little lakes which appear to only be accessible by water through the network of caves. We were blessed with the weather too. Our guide was pleasant and helpful. The day ended with a cycle for about 40 minutes for those who were interested. Those who were not could sit in the restaurant in which we had lunch earlier and have a drink while they waited for the cyclists to return. We then returned to Hanoi and were dropped at our hotel at approximately 7pm.
