About this activity

After you’re picked up at your hotel you’ll head out on the drive to Halong Bay, making a short stop in Hai Duong to visit crafts workshops. Where you’ll see marble stone sculptures, plaque paintings, and hand-embroidered items.

On your full-day excursion you’ll continue on the scenic drive to Halong, reaching the city pier at around 12pm, and board your private cruise.

You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and then enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. You’ll have a chance to take in the tranquil beauty and breathtaking scenery from the deck of the boat.

During the cruise you’ll enjoy views of tiny islands with their rock arches, sheer cliffs, innumerable white sand beaches, and peaceful coves. Like sculpted cartoon characters, these limestone islands have fanciful names, such as Incense Burner, Stone Dog, and Fighting Cock (which is the symbol of Halong Bay). You’ll also have the opportunity to observe the daily life of fishermen and their families in a floating village.

Return to the Halong city pier at 5:00pm and board the bus that will take you back to Hanoi. You’ll arrive in Hanoi at approximately 20 pm

I wish that I have booked a longer trip to Ha Long Bay. Believe me, you should book at least 2 days trip to Ha Long Bay, you will see the best of this. Love the food by the cruise, their services really good. Amazing!

Nice tour with Nice group . The tour was great. Be prepared that the road to Halong Bay is long and it required excellent drive skills from the driver. We went to the tour in the begining of January and the weather was perfect. If you have only one day for Halong Bay, this tour can be a good choice.
