Itinerary:

Halong 1-Day Tour- traditional Cruise, Small Group, Daily Departure from Hanoi

7:30am – 8:00am: You will be met by our hospitable guide and chauffeur with modern minibus at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter experiencing 175 km road trip to Halong City (3,5 hours) with a short break en-route.

12:00pm: Arriving Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard & safety briefing

12:15pm: A gourmet lunch is served in the single-seating restaurant while the most luxurious Halong Cruise is taking you on an odyssey journey wends among remote archipelagoes via crowd avoidance route and opens up views of one stupendous seascapes after another, passing uninhabited islets and outcrops including Stone Dog, Thumb, Duck, Incense Burner, and Cock Fighting.

2:00pm: Exploring Ba Hang (Three Cave), there are options to choose either kayaking or taking a bamboo boat rowed by local people, gently glide through water tunnels into secluded sea lagoons.

3:00pm: Walk up Limestone Mountain to visit Thien Cung Grotto with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

4:00pm: Returning aboard for coming back to the harbor

4:30pm: Disembark, bus ride back Hanoi. Short break on the way.

8:30pm: Drop-off at your hotel doorstep. Trip ends.

Though the drive is long from Hanoi, one day was the perfect way for me to see Halong Bay. The small group was very comfortable, the boat was not crowded and it lended to the quiet majesty of seeing the bay. It was a quality experience and a memorable visit.

An excellent trip and well worth for the money we've paid. Halong Bay was an amazing place that you must see in Vietnam. The highlight is the delicious lunch on boat among the sea and limestones islands. Kayaking and cave visiting was interesting too . You will be picked up from the hotel lobby in Hanoi and tour guide will care all your step until drop you back at your hotel, just relax and enjoy the trip . Highly recommended this trip.
