Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi - Duong Lam Ancient Village - Nghia Lo

Stop At: Duong Lam Ancient Village, Son Tay Commune, Hanoi 100000 Vietnam
Up early - breakfast - transferred by road to Duong Lam village. Upon arrival, you will take a leisurely walking tour to visit Mong Phu Communal House – visit ancient houses – take an easy cycling tour to visit Ngo Quyen & Phung Hung temples - Mia Pagoda - Lunch at an ancient house - take a scenic drive towards Nghia Lo. The drive will be made on the countryside road with lots of photo opportunities at the stunning sites such as tea plantations, rice terraces and hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, check in with the local family for refreshments. Then take a leisurely walk before your dinner with the family. The rest of the day is at your leisure

Day 2: Nghia Lo - Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai

Stop At: Mu Cang Chai, National Road 32, Yen Bai 320000 Vietnam
You are up early for sunrise & a leisurely walk for an overview of the local life. You can also hop on your bike for more exploration of the ethnic groups such as White Thai, Black Thai, H Mong as well as the hilltribe market – depart for Mu Cang Chai – along the way make stops at the Khau Pha pass, Salmon farm & Sky diving site for photographic opportunities at sunrise – onward travel to Mu Cang Chai with more stops at the Mam Xoi Viewpoint – arrive in Mu Cang Chai – free time for rest & photography evaluation in your hotel – travel to the Kim Loong & Giang Phung villages - wander around for more photos at sunset – dinner – overnight in a mini hotel.

Day 3: Mu Cang Chai - Heaven gate pass - Sapa

Stop At: Mu Cang Chai, National Road 32, Yen Bai 320000 Vietnam
Breakfast at hotel – early morning visit to a local school – check out the hotel – take a scenic drive on the winding road towards Sapa – along the way photographic opportunities at many local villages, tiny hill tribe markets, landscape, rice terraces, tea plantations & Heavenly Pass – onward travel to Sapa – check in the hotel for refreshments – some free time for lunch, rest & photography evaluation. The rest of the day is yours. You may like to wander around the streets for an overview of the night life in this mountain town.

Day 4: Hiking to Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages

Stop At: Ta Van Village, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
After breakfast you will be transferred to Muong Hoa Valley – hike along a scenic trail that gradually descends to Lao Chai & Ta Van villages. During your hike you will: come across Black Hmong, Red Dzao and Dzay people - pay short visits to local schools and local families to learn about the local life – time for a break, drinks and food (at your own expenses) – return to the hotel – free to wander around the town for more exploration by yourself before enjoying your dinner at an authentic restaurant.

Day 5: Sapa - Local Market - Hanoi

After breakfast you will be met and transferred on the scenic winding road to the largest hill tribe market in Vietnam, where buffaloes, chicken, cats, dogs and all manner of vegetables are on sale, giving endless photographic opportunities. After the market, you will return to Hanoi with stops at the hill tribe villages & beautiful sites.
