Stop At: Halong Bay Vietnam

Meet your guide in the morning (08:00 - 08:30am) upon hotel pickup by private car in Hanoi. After a 3- to 4-hour drive you'll arrive in Halong city, where you'll board a traditional wooden junk for your day cruise to the center of Halong Bay.

Around midday, you're served a fresh seafood lunch (vegetarian menu available) on board while the boat cruises further into the bay. Many amazing islands can be found, such as Fighting Cocks Islet, a well-known symbol of Halong Bay, in addition to Finger Islet, Incense Burner Islet, and Stone Dog Islet, all named for their limestone shapes.

After lunch, stop at Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto) and explore the cave's huge chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds.

Back on the boat after your personalized visit, head to Ba Hang fishing village, where you can choose from two great options. A rowboat trip, rowed by locals around the tranquil floating village, lets you see how local fishermen earn their living. Alternatively, go kayaking to explore on your own.

From here, relax on the return cruise until the junk anchors at the Halong harbor. You're transferred back to Hanoi and dropped off at your hotel.
