Great way to escape the tourist areas and go on a bike ride to see some local surroundings. The guide was great and informative. Be prepared to ride through some traffic and offroad terrain.

It was an amazing bike ride experience in the city of Hanoi and its outskirts. Friends and I got an exclusive tour since there were no one else. The excellent tour guide took us outside of the city to see an more in depth Hanoi area that is not normally seen. Very informative, but be prepared to ride through crowded streets to rough back roads.

This was a great experience for my husband and me. Our tour guide's name was Lucky, and he was great. Very knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about his culture. I thought getting the chance to navigate what I consider to be crazy traffic was fun. We also got to see a bit of Hanoi that isn't typically accessible to tourists if you just stay around the main tourist areas. We saw Bonsai trees and where the local people keep them. We also saw a temple and were lucky that there was a ceremony taking place, which enhanced the experience. We also went to a local artist's house/ gallery, which was very interesting. We then drove through the agricultural area and got to see a lot of the crops and some locals farming, which was cool. We visited a ceramics company and had a beer to end the tour. For my husband and I, this was a highlight for us. The tour was very authentic and didn't feel too manufactured. I might advise using a face cover, as you're driving through a lot of different areas and inhaling all kinds of stuff, so this might help with breathing. Also it is a quite long ride and not necessarily always on sidewalks/ streets or the most solid ground, so be prepared for that. For us, this was a bonus, but we are comfortable on bikes.

Loved this tour. So nice to ride out of Hanoi and experince a more gentle side. Easy riding away from the crazy Hanoi traffic. Great guides who took us to places not normally frequented by mainstream tourists. A visit to a famous artist's home was a hightlight. Highly recommend this tour.

Emma was fantastic! Very professional, informative and her english was perfect! We seemed to get off the actual described itinerary but that was ok and she did a great job explaining various facts about Hanoi and the 'countryside' we saw. The bike seats should be upgraded hardcore ten speed type and there should be a warning that you will be riding around in the craziness that is Hanoi motorbike/car/pedestrian traffic.

We had an excellent tour with our very knowledgable guide. My husband dreads large group activities but this was small, only 4 people, and consequently we felt we had a personal tour of the rural aspects of Hanoi city. Cycling through a maze of gardens and back streets you would never dare go on your own was a wonderful experience and I would go again tomorrow with pleasure !
