Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar - Barkot

Stop At: Har ki Pauri, Upper Road, Haridwar 249401 India
Har ki Pauri is famous for its Ganga Aarti. Arrive here and enjoy the Ganga Aarti in the evening.

Welcome to Chardham Yatra. You are greeted and assisted on arrival at Haridwar Railway station by our representative and drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty Fall and enjoy the beauty of Himalayas, (route may be changed as per road condition & traffic). Later drive straight to Barkot for night stay.

Day 2: Barkot - Yamunotri – Barkot

Stop At: Yamunotri Temple, Yamunotri 249193 India
Drive to Jankichatti, trek starts from here to Yamunotri (6kms). On arrival leave the vehicle and start to ascend on trek route either by walk or pony/doli (at own cost). On arrival at Yamunotri purchase Prasad form local small shops, then proceed to holy dip in natural hot water spring or in river Yamuna (icy cold water). One can cook rice in “Surya Kund” (hot water spring), dipping in a muslin cloth and take cooked rice home as "Prasadam". Pooja can be offered to mythological “Divya Shila”. Take blessings of Mata Yamuna and trek down to Jankichatti. Later drive back to Barkot for night stay.

On the western side of Garhwal Himalayas, in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, lies the holy place of Yamunotri. About 3,293 metres above the sea level, Yamunotri stands proudly with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers and gushing waters of Yamuna. River Yamuna, the second most sacred river of India, originates in Yamunotri, making it one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi

Stop At: Vishwanath Temple, Guptkashi 246439 India
Morning depart to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in at hotel, later visit famous Kashi Vishwanath temple at Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.
Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi is an ancient Hindu temple abode in the Gharwal regions of the Lower Himalayas. It is a beautiful stone temple with many Hindu architectural values. It is dedicated for Lord Shiva and Lord Vishwanath. This temple is built at an altitude of 1319 meters above the mean sea levels. This is an important temple considered in the Hindu pilgrimage to the Himalayas as the Chota Char Dham. It is found on the way to Kedarnath Mountains and aside by the Mandakani River. It is a holy place as well as tourist place to visit for its elegant mountain ranges and scenic beauties. It is divinely located at Ukhimath Town, Rudraprayag District in Uttrakhand State in India.

Day 4: Uttarkashi -Gangotri -Uttarkashi

Stop At: Gangotri Temple, Gangotri Village, Gangotri India
Morning proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), en-route enjoy the drive parallel to Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. On arrival Gangotri have a holy dip in river Bhagirathi (icy cold water). Perform Pooja and Hindu rites at the bank of river. Then proceed to darshan, of Mata Ganga, Lord Shiva, Hanuman, Vinayka and BhagirathMaharaj, have blessings and return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Sitapur

Stop At: Vishwanath Temple, Guptkashi 246439 India
Morning drive to Guptkashi or Phata. On arrival check into hotel. Later do Registration for visiting Kedarnath, overnight stay at Hotel.
Guptkashi is beautifully located on the east side of the Mandakini River valley facing the town of Ukhimath in the Rudraprayag District of Garhwal in Uttarakhand. It is an important Hindu pilgrimage in Uttarakhand and is also replete with beautiful flora and ancient temples like Vishwanath temple and Ardhnarishwar.

Day 6: Guptkashi - Kedarnath

Stop At: Kedarnath Mandir, Garhwal Himalayan range Near Mandakini River, Kedarnath India
Early morning drive to Gaurikund/ Phata (for trek route or helipad)trek starts from here to Kedarnath (3584 mts) on foot or Heli/doli/pony (at own cost). Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen and clothes. After performing Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji, overnight stay at Hotel in Kedarnath.

Kedarnath Dham, located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, is one of the most paramount locations for worshipers of Shiva. The air appears to be reverberating with the name of Lord Shiva amid the mighty snow-clad peaks, enchanting meadows and forests of the lower mountain range of Himalayas. Situated in a breathtaking location, near the source of Mandakini River and at the height of 3,584 meters, Kedarnath Dham celebrates the greatness of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath temple is one of the 12 Jyotir Lingams and is also the most important temple among the Panch Kedars (group of 5 Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas). It is also one of the significant temples of the sacred Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand, raising the glory of the place to further heights.

Day 7: Kedarnath - Phata - Badrinath

Stop At: Shri Badrinath Ji Temple, Badrinath Temple Road Near Sarshwati River, Badrinath 246422 India
Morning After breakfast transfer to Badrinath, en-route visit Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Vishnu Prayag, & Joshimath (Narshimha Temple) on arrival check in at hotel, in the evening visit Badrinath temple, overnight stay at hotel.

Badrinath is the most important of the four sites in India's Char Dham pilgrimage. Badrinath is in the Garhwal hills, on the banks of the Alaknanda River, at an elevation of 3133 m. The holy shrine here is the Badrinath Temple dedicated to Hindu god Vishnu. The temple is stated to be of Vedic origin and over the eons has undergone many renovations.

Day 8: Badrinath - Nandprayag

Stop At: Shri Badrinath Ji Temple, Badrinath Temple Road Near Sarshwati River, Badrinath 246422 India
Morning visit temple after a holy dip in Taptkund. Proceed through colorful entrance of the temple have Darshan of Badrivishal along with Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav, Nar & Narayan. Also see another small temples inside the temple compound i.e. Laxmimata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarn and Kaamdhenu. One can get ‘Charnamirt’ (abhishekamjal) in side compound. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddam Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), one can perform rite here.

Later visit Mana Village (India’s last village towards Indo-Tibetan border), which includes Vyasa Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhimpul, Saraswati river etc, In the evening transfer to Srinagar, Overnight stay at Nandprayag.
Badrinath or Badrinarayan Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu which is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India. The temple and town form one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. The temple is also one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Badrinath—holy shrines for Vaishnavites. It is open for six months every year (between the end of April and the beginning of November), because of extreme weather conditions in the Himalayan region.

Day 9: Nadprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar

Stop At: Ram Jhula, Ganga Vatika, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand 249137, India
Morning drive back to Rishikesh. En-route see the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda in Devprayag. on arrival at Rishikesh visit magnificent ashrams and famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, Shivanand Ashram, Gita Bhavan, Pramarth Niketan later drive to Haridwar, Here tour ends with happy memories as you drop to the Haridwar Railway station for journey to onward destination

Rishikesh is a city in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.
