You will go North to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site Abbey of Lorsch, founded over 1.250 years ago as a proprietary church and monastery. There will be time for a short visit. On your way back to Heidelberg you will make a stop at the hometown of the inventor of the automobile, Karl Benz, the village Ladenburg, which was populated as early as 3000 BC. You will visit the historic marketplace with timbered houses and its nice pubs and cafés. The tour will end at your hotel in Heidelberg around noon.
