New year 2018 -2019 Tour Itinerary
Day 1: 30 December Arrival to Helsinki and City Highlights Tour
Helsinki is fascinating capital city of Finland and located on shores of Baltic seas. Your local guide will give guided tour for highlights of the city and you will hear about history, culture and daily life of Finland. We will visit Helsinki Cathedral, The Senate Square, the Old Market Hall and the Market square, Uspenski Cathedral, Sibelius monument and The Rock Church. Beside those attractions you will see Helsinki shopping district and city center. After our guided tour we will check in to our very central located GLO Art Hotel.
Day 2: 31 December Flight to Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland
Today we will travel to magical Lapland. After breakfast at our hotel you can enjoy Helsinki on your own and we will take 13:15 Norwegian Air flight to Rovaniemi. On our arrival we visit Santa Claus Village and you can meet Santa in his office or send post card from Santa’s post office that your post arrives to receiver on Christmas Day. After enjoyable time for shopping and personal time we will leave Santa Claus village to go to our hotel. We will check in and have New Year eve dinner at our hotel.
Day 3: 01 January Full Day Snowmobile Safari to Husky Farm and Reindeer Farm
After breakfast at our hotel we explore wilderness of Lapland with Snowmobile safari. After safety instructions about snowmobiles from our local experts at 09:30 we will start our Snowmobile safari to experience Lappish nature and culture. Our first stop will be Husky Farm of a local family. You will have chance to hear about friendly huskies, Lappish family and chance to take tons of pictures with them. Our day continue with visit to Reindeer farm to learn about them and have a delicious local lunch. After personal time in the farm we will return our hotel with our snowmobiles. We will overnight in Rovaniemi and have dinner at our hotel.
Day 4: 02 January Snow Hotel visit and Glass Igloo Experience
Our day will start with short drive of 20km to Snow Hotel which is rebuild every year for winter season. We will have fun visit to this magnificent hotel made by ice and snow. Today we will have a traditional local salmon lunch which is prepared in 3 hours at Kota restaurant. After lunch we will drive to Igloo Hotel where we will overnight. Dinner is at hotel.
Day 5: 03 January Return from Rovaniemi to Helsinki
We are leaving magical North today. After breakfast our guest will have some personal time. We will take 15:05 flight to Helsinki.
