It was rainy all day, but I'll try not to cloud my comments. Our tour tickets said 8:00 am but to absolutely arrive at 7:45 am. The tour guide/bus did not appear until 8:30 and then wanted to argue that we had somehow made the mistake (even when looking at our tickets). The tour of the city was a bit mundane, saved by a visit to the new FANTASTIC Helsinki Public Library - which was a substitute for outdoor sightseeing. It is so much more than a library - anyone going there should include it on your must-see list. Porvoo was about 40 minute highway drive, lots of cobblestones and steep walking for the mobility challenged. It was Sunday and everything was closed. The tour included a soup/salad lunch at a local restaurant and then we returned to Helsinki. Overall, close to a waste of time. The guide was knowledgeable but seemed was suffering from a bit of burnout. Or maybe it was the weather.....
