About this activity
In 2000 we discovered a gorge near Hersonissos and started organising guided tours through this gorge.
After our minibus have picked you up from your hotel, we drive into the mountains.
In a small mountain village we have a last change for a drink or toilet before we walk down to the gorge.
This gorge is about 8 km long and has some obstacles on the way down.
We will see real nature, some birds of prey, vultures and more.
The guide who is walking with you, tells you about the local flora, fauna and history of the gorge.
At the end of the day we have a small typical Cretan lunch (included) in a local tavern.
After lunch our minibuses wll bring you back to your hotel.
