The course is divided in three main parts: - theory - confined water training (pool or shallow sea) - open water dive to 3-6 m depth.
The instructor is always with the students. Direct supervision is obligatory. This course is ideal for all people who want to do " something else" and to experience the great feeling of scuba diving in the magnificent underwater world. No previous Diving experience is required. Good swimming skills and health condition are essential.

The diving site wasn't great, just some fish. But that's b/c it was the beginners session from the beach. It's was just fun to get out for the half day trip. There were only 2 of us with one instructor, which was fantastic! Loved that they picked us up at the hotel and dropped us back. The drive was only about half an hour one way. But didn't realize we were going to be done at 12pm and had to wait until 3:30pm before heading back. So getting a more detailed schedule would be helpful for planning the day. Had I known that, I would have planned 2 drives.
Had a great time on this tour. We are not certified divers but have done beginner dives in the past. The instructor, Pedros, is a very experienced diver and was so professional, patient, and helpful. We had a fun dive and really enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately, due to rather windy conditions, the location of the dive needed to be changed but the dive company did everything they could to make sure the dive happened and wasn't cancelled. We didn't see a lot of tropical fish, just a few different types. My husband spotted one small octopus. We've seen more fish and underwater fauna in the Caribbean but it was still a blast knowing that we actually dove in the Aegean Sea!
