My husband and I were with 10 other people. Enjoyed the excursion overall. Sites very crowded. No rainbow at falls. Hard to look. Very crowded. Enjoyed seeing Volcanoes National Park after 30 years last visit. The orchids stop was beautiful.

He took us to every place specified on the schedule and a bonus stop. He was sooo knowledgeable and polite which made the trip extra fun.The picture advertised however has nothing to do with the trip. It is not in your Tourguides control what’s open and what is not but Paul made sure we got to see as much as possible. The only con we have was do not mix people from a Cruise ship with people who stay on the big island. All they did was complain and worry they do not make it back in time to the cruise ship and want to rush around.

Tour was unorganized from the beginning. Had Tourguide Chris who seemed to be confused and shared just a little information about the national park etc. Once you got to a spot he told the guests how much time they have, rush, take quick photo and get back in the van. Other tourguides guided the guests and shared so much information so we sometimes sticked to other tour guides during the stops just to gather information. This tours was just hop ond hof off take picture tour with no cultural, emotional or informative character. Not worth the money. Maybe Chris was the wrong guide and other guide of same company would have done it better.
