This personalized tour on the Big Island starts with pickup in Kailua-Kona by luxurious 11-passenger van, a Mercedes Benz Sprinter equipped with DVD player and a large library of Hawaiian media.
On arrival at your destination, follow the marine paths of Polynesian sailors while you stand on the windswept cliffs of South Point, known in Hawaiian as Ka Lae. Not only is it the southernmost point of Hawaii but of the entire US.
Try kite fishing off the sea cliffs or go snorkeling in the pristine water. A professional photographer documents your trip and a link to online photo sharing is provided. You also have the option to ride in a 4x4 vehicle to Green Sands Beach (own expense; payable direct).
Experience Aloha with a unique seafood boil hosted by a South Point local (own expense; payable direct). You'll feast on the fresh catch of the day, red potato, Molokai sweet potato, Maui onions, carrots, celery, sweet corn (when in season), and Portuguese sausage cooked in secret herbs and spices.
