Bring the family kayaking through the tidal creeks and salt marshes that surround Hilton Head Island and the May River in Bluffton. As with all of our guided programs, our 2 hour Guided Kayak Tours are led by knowledgeable, personable interpretive naturalist guides, who are also kayaking experts. They will use their deep local insight to read the tides and lead your group on the best possible route, looking for wildlife and making stops to talk about the areas rich history and culture. Conducted at a leisurely pace, this “nature hike” on water is Hilton Head Kayaking at it’s very best.

Outside Hilton Head 2 Hour Guided Kayak Tours are perfect for the whole family and designed for all experience levels. The trip will begin when you meet your guide, who will start off with a brief paddling clinic to get everyone up to speed. Next, your guide will launch you into the marina off of our state-of-the art kayak launch. Both single and double kayaks are available, and all are safe, stable and comfortable. Once out on the water, you will have the opportunity to see the plants and animals of Hilton Head’s saltmarsh, including: Atlantic Bottlenosed dolphin, twelve species of heron, ibis, bald eagles, sea turtles, red fish, oysters, sea pickle, live oaks, Spanish moss, osprey, mink, pelicans and much more. All the while your guide will be explaining the ecosystem as well as the areas history and culture. At the close of the experience, your guide will help you land and get out of your boat.
