About this activity
Itinerary

A single square cloth can be used to wrap things freely and to carry. Furoshiki has been used since 1300 years ago in Japan. It was used widely in the past because you can wrap anything in it, no matter what shape it is. It is a unique tool, a Japanese style bag that was invented by Japanese culture and wisdom and has been transmitted.
In this plan, you will learn the basic “Mamusubi (reef knot)” and “Hitotsumusubi(single knot)” of the 20 types of furoshiki wrapping methods, and will teach you how to wrap a bottle and how to make a bag with a furoshiki. You can take back a furoshiki used in the lesson as a memory. Each of them were made with different colors and patterns. They have beautiful Japanese-style patterns, so it is also interesting to watch and you can feel the Japanese beauty.
For foreign tourists, English-speaking instructors will be provided.
