2 Days Private Non-Touristic Local Homestay in Tra On: Mekong Delta

TOUR PROGRAM:

DAY 1: SAI GON - CAI BE - VINH LONG – CAN THO

8:00AM Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Depart to Vinh Long, on the way you can see the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. After arrived at Cai Be, we will on board for an exploration of lush vegetation of Mekong Delta. Next the visitors could enjoy a nice trip by the rowing boat to arrive at a local orchard in order to enjoy the fresh local tropical fruits, have lunch and go cycling around the island.We proceed to Can Tho by bus and overnight in here.

Transfer to a small village in Cai Rang district, and you check in to your riverside cottage. In the afternoon, you go cycling, visit brickyard making place, visit pagoda and rice paper making village. Alongside the village road, while you go trekking around the village, you can see ducks and buffaloes swimming on the river and the tranquil rural paddy scenery. Next, we go fishing to prepare for the dinner, you will explore what is the countryside in Vietnam. In the evening, you will join to arrange and have the cooking class with special Vietnamese cuisine such as: goi cuon, banh xeo..., and share the meal with the owner family. Enjoy an evening of traditional folk music with your neighbors, overnight in the cottage and feel the peace of the Mekong Delta.

DAY 2: TRÀ ÔN HOMESTAY - CÁI RĂNG FLOATING MARKET CẦN THƠ

7:00AM After breakfast, take the morning boat trip pick up at our homestay to visit the floating market which is the busiest and nicest time of day, it takes you around 1 hour to go the floating market. On the way, you will enjoy the brilliant sunrise on the boat, and around you that is the truly life of Mekong Delta people. In the floating market, people sell, buy and exchange their goods on their boat, therefore, you can buy a coffee cup, and enjoy it in the sunrise morning - taking picture for this unforgettable moment. After that, we keep cruising through the small channels system to visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta. On the way we return to Ho Chi Minh city, we will stop at Mekong Rest Stop to have lunch, and then arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, drop you off at your hotel at
