Stop At: Ho Chi Minh Squares, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City 70000 Vietnam

Yummy on Bike Tour has 4 stops: 2 main foods, 1 sightseeing and 1 dessert.

FIRST STOP: please choose 1 among 3 choices below in booking time:

– Option 1: Bún Chả HaNoi and Nem Rán: a Vietnamese dish of grilled pork and noodle, which is thought to have originated from Hanoi, Vietnam. “Bún Chả” is served with grilled fatty pork over a plate of white rice noodle and herbs with a side dish of dipping sauce. Not only that, you will be able to try “Nem Rán”, made from ground meat, usually pork, wrapped in rice paper and deep-fried.

– Option 2: Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm and Chả Giò (spring rolls): “Mắm tôm” or Shrimp paste is popular in many parts of Asia including Vietnam. I know what some of you may react to this dish: “Ewww”, but come o¬n. O¬ne of the reasons why you travel is to see the world in all its diversity, isn’t it? So why not give “mắm tôm” a chance? This dish comprises of rice noodles, tofu, shrimp paste and, last but not least, odoriferous herbs or basil. Don’t let the smell fool you, once you try you can never stop! And have you ever heard of spring rolls? If you haven’t, it’s the same with “Nem Rán”, but it has many names due to regions in Viet Nam.

– Option 3: Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese pancake): The name literally translates to “sizzling cake,” after the sound the rice batter makes when it is poured into the hot pan. It is loaded with tasty ingredients like shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. At first glance, you might think that these are omelettes. I know we did. But, there’s actually no egg in the batter for these pancakes. Rather, it’s turmeric that gives the batter its characteristic yellow hue.
