My husband and I enjoyed a portion of this tour. The Cao Dai Temple is beautiful and our time there was interesting. We enjoyed watching a portion of the ceremony after being able to spend time beforehand taking photos. Lunch was delicious, as it was "hot pot", but it was our first experience with this and we had no idea how to "cook" our lunch. Some of the group did not have lunch included with their tour, so the guide was directing them to lunch places. He did not describe or demonstrate the hot pot cooking method. Now for the bad - we had thought we could actually go into the Cu Chi Tunnels, but we were only allowed to crawl through an entrance tunnel that was probably 10 meters long. Our guide was interesting, but he talked so much that we were basically kicked out of the park before we could possibly see tunnels. Perhaps this is not even a possibility, but we were led to believe otherwise.A very old black and white movie of terrible quality was shown on the bus on the way to the tunnels. As Americans, we were very offended by the propaganda shown in the movie and the information given by the guide. The guide stated that Americans bombed the area because we didn't want crops to grow. Absolutely no mention was made that Americans (and others) gave their lives in an effort to keep Vietnam free of Communism. No mention was made of the Vietnamese who fought against their own people. It was very awkward and uncomfortable listening to this one-sided presentation for hours on end. We had to bite our tongues. We would not recommend that any Americans visit these tunnels, where a guide gleefully demonstrates the action of terrible torture traps.

Pick up in hotel was confusing, because we had to walk to the bus, then had to transfer to another bus. However, everything else that followed went perfectly well. We were dropped at the hotel after.

Great combination of the two most popular day trips outside HCMC. Expect a long drive to the sights and back. Lunch could be better. Vibrant and engaging guide- Thao from TNK Travel. Would definitively recommend.

We had a great tour guide Bin who has a great sense of humor and knowledgeable about the Cao Dai religion and its history. The visit to Cu Chi tunnels was informative and fun. My only negative about this tour was about the bus's airconditioning was we not good enough to keep us cool.
