Stop At: The Independence Palace, 106 Nguyen Du District 1, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
Pick up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for the Independence Palace , also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Central Post Office, At the top of Dong Khoi St opposite Notre Dame Cathedral, Ho Chi Minh City 70000 Vietnam
Then visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office, which was built by the French during the colonial times.
***Please take notes: the Notre Dame Cathedral have been being restored ( until 2022), so the guests just visit outside.

Stop At: War Remnants Museum, 28 Vo Van Tan Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
After that visit the War Remnants Museum, the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Stop At: Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
Before heading towards the Cu Chi Tunnels you will have a break for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon you will continue excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a famous underground system which was built by the Viet-Cong’s during the Vietnam-American war in the 1970’s. The Cu Chi tunnels is a network of underground systems with over 200 km (125 miles) range including underground hospital, living areas, weapon factories and much more. Here you will also have a chance to try a bit of warfare yourself, as there is a shooting range near the tunnels (Optional and not Included in the tour).
After Cu Chi Tunnels you will be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.
***Please note: Drop off time is subject to traffic, weather...so the finished time could be later than expecting.This tour will back Ho Chi Minh City in lately evening ( about 19:00 PM or more)

Did not enjoy the tour. It was chaotic. Not on time as there was someone who did not turn up on time as he slept in one of the room at Independence Palace. Lesson learnt for us hence we book for private tours in our Cambodia holiday
Our party of four friends from Brisbane enjoyed been shown the city highlights then taken out to the Cu Chi Tunnels after having an hour lunch stop in a city cafe.The air conditioned bus was comfortable and our tour guide fun and informative.
Everything ran perfectly and smoothly, we have an awesome tour guide who was really helpful. The only thing was the bus, we were picked up at 7.30 and the tour was for 12 hours. Imagine spending a good half the time in the bus that with a broken air condition. It was so fun. Suggest that buses need to be inspected and checked regularly,
Finding the tour starting point was a major hassle, because of the slow and obtuse responses by Mr. Nguyen Thi Thanh. After pointing out in January that there were two places in downtown HCMC named De Tham that could be the tour bus site, I was sent a new reservation e-mail stating that I would get picked at my hotel outside District 1. Then suddenly two days prior to the tour on 27 February I had already left the USA by then, my hotel pickup was changed back to 220 De Tham. On the tour morning, my wife and I left our hotel extra early, found a driver who knew where De Tham was after three tries, and joined what proved to be an excellent tour. Our tour guide Giang did an excellent job, but we will avoid Viator tours in the future because of the stupidity of Mr. Thanh, whom I assume is an arrogant, poorly trained mid-level manager. Before you lose more customers, please train your staff to answer tourists' questions about location by giving helpful answers and a map.
A great day. Saw the sites per the program. Kan was an excellent guide, providing worthwhile insights along the way. Recommend this without hesitation. It did make for a long day, and worth the investment.
