Half-Day Cu Chi Tunnels by Speedboat with Wireless Headset

5h30
Half Day
About this activity
Pick you up at the hotel lobby and then transfer you to a central pier (Cau Mong Pier - only 1 km from Ben Thanh market) by car or minivan.

Embark on a luxury speedboat heading towards Cu Chi Tunnels and it takes us almost one and half hours to get there. When sitting on board, a light breakfast of chicken bread, fresh tropical fruits and mineral water are served. On the way, you will enjoy the fresh air and observe the pure beautiful landscape. In the meantime, our guide will explain about the daily rural life of local people living along the riverbanks via wireless headset tour guide system.

Arrive at Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceed to the underground hut to watch a short documentary video and presentation about Cu Chi Tunnels during the wartime. Afterwards, you will have a soft walk into the jungle to visit the bomb craters, the countless traps, the secret entrance, the fighting bunkers, the air ventilation and the constructed living areas. Again, the wireless headset tour guide system is equipped during the Cu Chi Tunnels tour so that you can hear the commentaries from a tour guide clearly and effortlessly even in the noisy environment or long distance.

For those interested, there is a chance to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real bullets at the shooting range. Furthermore, you can witness the rice-paper (spring roll skin) as well as the rice-wine production line. Of course, the most exciting part is to try to go through a real underground tunnel that gives you once-in-a-lifetime experience to be a real VC - Vietnamese Communist. Then, you will gather together to test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war.

Finish Cu Chi Tunnels Tour and head to a riverside restaurant to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch (for morning departure).

Say goodbye to Cu Chi and return to Saigon. Arrive back to Cau Mong pier and be dropped off at your hotel.
