The tour will begin with a relaxing cyclo (pedicab) ride to the Lady Thien Hau Temple. This temple, built to worship Lady Thien Hau (the goddess of the sea), is one of the most interesting and ancient temples in the China Town area. Thien Hau is the Vietnamese transcription of the Chinese name Tianhou ("Empress of Heaven"), an epithet of the Chinese sea goddess Mazu, the deified form of Lin Moniang, a medieval Fujianese girl credited with saving one or some of her family members from harm during a typhoon through her spiritual power

After visiting the temple, you can walk around China Town and visit some of the local shops. Chinatown is also a place of great historical and cultural importance. This area is a popular site for those on the tourist trail and also attracts many Taiwanese and Chinese visitors. Chinatown is an interesting place to see classical Chinese architecture reminiscent of years gone by with plenty of Chinese restaurants.

After departing for the China Town area, we will visit Cha Tam Church

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Binh Tay Market, 57 Thap Muoi, Ward 2, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam

We will then go shopping at Binh Tay Market, the largest market in Ho Chi Minh City or at the lacquerware factory where you can find special products made here in Vietnam. You can easily combine exploring and shopping in Chinatown.

Very enjoyable experience. The tour guide Anh was great. She picked us up at the hotel on time and my husband and I had such a fun time riding the cyclo around Chinatown areas. if you'd like to ride on the Cyclo but do not want to deal with Cyclo Scam use this tour.
