Our 'guide' was a bit of a misnomer! We basically just got taken to the sites where he gave a brief overview and left us to make our own way around! Not recommended.

The tour is mostly around war remnants and the history of occupations and battles. Very little around current state of culture and lifestyle.

We had limited time in Ho Chi Minh so wanted to make most of it. This half day tour was just what we needed to see main sites. We had a guide and driver and fortunately for us we were the only two on the tour which made it more personal. Our guide Duc who spoke good English was excellent. Very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from him about HCM city and Vietnam in general. The Independence Palace was well worth a visit and the War Remnants Museum is a must see. We needed longer there so decided to stay on at the end of tour. Overall the tour was good value for money with friendly and interesting guide.

Our guide was fantastic! He spoke great English and offered us a ton of information. It was nice to be picked up early because we were able to see many of the sites without running into the huge crowds of people. The history of this city is so amazing, everyone in our group enjoyed this tour a great deal.
