Stop At: Saigon Central Post Office, 2 Công xã Paris, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh 710009, Vietnam

We will meet our guide there.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, 01 Công xã Paris, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Quận 1 Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam

We'll start walking from the General Post Office, an icon of Saigon, and Notre Dame Cathedral, built by the French during the colonial era. Both structures are fine examples of architecture from the colonial period

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: The Independence Palace, 106 Nguyen Du District 1, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam

We will pass by and stop outside so your local guide will tell you all about it and give you the chance to take some photos.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ho Chi Minh Squares, Nguyen Hue Walking Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City 70000 Vietnam

We'll embark on a cyclo tour of Ho Chi Minh City, rolling around the city on a traditional three-wheeled bicycle with a carriage at the front for passengers. Drivers use pedal power to push us along, and gives us the opportunity to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of HCMC without the barrier of being trapped behind a car window (or the sound of a noisy engine!).

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Cheo Leo Cafe, 109-36 Nguyễn Thiện Thuật, Phường 2, Quận 3, Hồ Chí Minh 70000, Vietnam

The ride leads us to the Oldest local café in Saigon where you will sit among the locals and enjoy good Vietnamese coffee.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Thích Quảng Đức Monument, 185 Cách Mạng Tháng 8, Phường 6, Quận 3, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam

We'll ride toward the crossroads where the famous monk Thich Quang Duc self-immolated in 1963, in protest of the government's persecution of Buddhists.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, Ho Thi Ky Ward 1, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam

We'll then ride to the very local District 3 and the biggest flower market in the city. We'll also visit a neighbourhood where a lot of Viet Kieu Cambodians now live in Saigon, giving you a chance to learn more about Southeast Asian history and taste some finger food in the market.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ben Thanh Market, Le Loi, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam

Back on the cyclo, it's non-stop sightseeing as we pass by the 'pet street,' Le Hong Phong, and the 'art and painting street,' Tran Phu, before bidding our cyclos goodbye at Tao Dan Park. Here, we'll enjoy a short walk to Saigon's iconic and authentic Ben Thanh Market; with its unmistakable clock tower, it has long been a staple of the city and is not to be missed.

Great tour, very informative and really interesting, it is a must do, to hear about Vietnam history. We had a lovely rep and cyclo drivers were very good, also giving information to us. Only disappointment was, we did not receive any photo's from the trip, which states will be e-mailed to you, gave rep e-mail address, but did not arrive. Would recommend this trip though, early start.

My respect to Vietnamese is undeniable. After learning their history especially the Vietnam war and the sufferings they had, I would say they are the bravest to have fought for their freedom. Thank you so much for sharing your past with the tourist like us.
