Itinerary

Starting with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, you'll be taking a short bus journey to the nearby town of My Tho. Well-known throughout Vietnam, My Tho sits on the mighty Mekong River and is home to some of Vietnam's best and most vibrant floating markets.

Your tour will start off with a stroll around some of the floating markets before heading to Con Thoi Son – also known as Unicorn Island. Here you'll take in a traditional Vietnamese musical performance from some local residents before having a taste of some delicious locally grown fruits.

Next up is a hand-rowed sampan boat trip through a number of the small creeks and rivers where you can observe how local Vietnamese villagers live and farm. You'll learn how to make coconut candies – a local delicacy – before heading back to the bright lights of Ho Chi Minh City in the early afternoon.

Last, enjoy the Vietnamese traditional music performance, Đàn Ca Tài Tử, one of the UNESCO Cultural Heritages, to complete your day tour.
