This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Viet Nam Adventure Tours, 123 Lý Tự Trọng, Phường Bến Thành, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh 700000, Vietnam
Start at 8:00AM & End at 5:00PM in Ho Chi Minh city.
Departing from your Ho Chi Minh City. During the 1.5 hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho.
The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region.
Your morning trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui (Tortoise Islet). On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet.
Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you also can join daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house, and take the picture of the snakes. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden.
The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province — "the land of coconuts." Here you'll see a typical agricultural model called "Garden - Pond – Cage,” before visiting the coconut candy-making shop.
Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by the shadow of the water coconut’s trees. After your boat ride, relax in a hammock or take a bike ride around the island before returning to the bus. You will arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City at around 4:30 to 5:00 PM.
(Add-on option): On This tour, when checking out, you will be able to book an option to explore Mekong Delta on a completely NON-TOURISTY ROUTE. You will be cruising along the Mekong River on a motor boat to enjoy fascinating view from both sides. Kick back and observe the stunning scenery pass you by, watching daily life as it unfolds on the riverbanks. And biking around the villages. (No visit to pagoda, candy factory, islands)

nice experienced. Nice tour, Nice Tour Guide ( Ms. Ni ) funny girl
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Our tour guide, Van, we knowledgeable, personable and funny. There was so much to see and do. The river experience was phenomenal. Watching chocolate making and honey and eating fresh fruit from the countryside topped off my day!
Friendly tour guide and driver. Fetch you from where you stay and back to where you stay. Kids friendly, even brought 1.5 year old. We did stay out of the bike ride which was one of the items, as it is not suitable for young children. That was fine.
We were in a small group. Me and my husband enjoyed everything about the tour. It was very organised and the tour guide Xiauen (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was good in speaking English. We were picked up from our hotel then almost 2 hrs ride in the bus and we arrived at the port to transfer to a big boat. We then had visited many islands and had a taste of tea w/ honey and some homemade snacks. Serenaded by the locals with traditional music and instruments while tasting local fruits. We rode a horse cart and went to another farm. We had a boat ride paddled by locals along Mekong river. Had lunch at a nice resto. A pagoda visit before the end of the tour. We also had a coconut drink in the boat going back to the port where our bus was waiting. Overall an enjoyable tour. Thanks to our guide and our driver.
The guide is friendly, patient and funny. She attends to everyobe in details and always remind the group not to leave any personal belongings.
Hoesntly this tour has been great, Ken was both enguaging and caring. He was knowledgeable and from the tone of his voice, I could tell that he was passionate. I would highly recommend this tour if you want a great tour guide and friendly people to meet.
The guide Henry was so good, natural and honest. Really enjoyed it because of him. I recommend you to request for him if possible. He did way beyond his job and made this so enjoyable with the blunt truth of Vietnam and it’s sights.
Great trip very informative guide was brilliant food let it done. Fish fish and more fish. Goo made it special got us together as a group added the little extras
I really enjoyed the trip. It was good value for money. Included boat , village walk , couple quick stops at local people shops for the tea and fruit snacks. Had a chance to hold large piton and make some pictures. Little separate canoe adventure through river canals . Dinner and bicycle ride. So almost all day various experiences. A bit long drive on the bus but Great tour!!!
Mr Fa was a great tour guide, could not have asked for a better one. Knowledgeable and great sense of humor. would recommend.
Great authentic tour with a local guide!
