Stop At: Cai Be Floating Market, Cai Be, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Delta

Pick up is from your hotel lobby where you will meet your guide and driver for the day before heading toward the Mekong, approximately 2 ½ - 3hours away. During the drive you can enjoy the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon & watch locals going about their daily chores.
When you arrive at Cai Be, you’ll board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market and spend time here for some interaction with local residents that you’ll see nowhere else in the world.
Next, your row boat will zigzag thru a maze of shadow canals to arrive at a great orchard where you can freely taste many famous tropical fruits of Vietnam and watch locals’ daily chores.
Then we’ll see how coconut candy, crispy rice cake and ceramic are made here . Lunch is at local garden house
After this, we will ride bicycles and roam through the villages to check out several rural shops, or as an alternative you may simply relax in a hammock for a short rest.
Arriving at a marketplace we take a stroll to see how and what the poor rural people of Vietnam sell. You are encouraged to interact with the vendors and see how friendly and respectful they are. You may also buy many interesting local items for a very reasonable price. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy your evening.
