This was a great tour, we got to see several different tunnels, as well as helicopters and planes used during the war. The guide was very knowledgable and funny, and I definitely learnt a lot during the tour. A couple of things to note though: the meeting time said 7:30 as the bus would leave at 7:45, so we arrived bang on half past seven, but the bus didn't even turn up until 8:30, so it was an hour of standing in the street, being relentlessly hounded by street vendors trying to get us to buy something. The coach ride is also quite a lot longer than I thought (2.5 hours each way), but the bus is air conditioned and water was included which was nice. There's also no opportunity to stop for food on this tour, and considering it lasted from 7:30 until 4:30, it was quite a long day to go without any lunch. The tunnels are amazing, but the last set of tunnels, where you have the opportunity to go down 50m, are a little more scary than I thought they would be. I'm a 5ft3 girl, and they were a tight squeeze at times. Overall though, a great visit and really good value!

I had a wonderful time, experiencing a bit of Vietnam recent history. Our guide, Ut had a good command of English and tried his best to answer questions from my group. Good price for a good tunnel tour.

Great experience - good mix of history, experiencing the tunnels first hand and shooting war era guns Can't go to Vietnam and not go to the jungle where the war was fought. Cu Chi tunnels are where the local guerrillas sent team USA packing unless your claustrophobic, then don't go into the tunnels! The ingenuity of the tunnels is amazing and they are well worth exploring. The last stretch of the last tunnel which is exactly as it was in the war, not widened, hot, humid and not lit, will push your limits and you'll be relieved to see light and land after going through 50 metres. Go shoot some guns from the war too, may be your only chance to shoot an unaltered AK-47 and RPK bigger, more powerful, on a bipod. RPK on bipod is accurate and easy to find your mark and stick to it. AK-47 is a beast. Kicks, sight wasn't accurate and had to manually adjust, but definitely worth the experience.
