Stop At: Tiền Giang, Cái Bè, Cái Bè District, Tien Giang, Vietnam

Escape the city for a tour of the Mekong Delta, where you'll see what life is like beyond the urban centre of the south. About 2.5 hours

away is the city of My Tho, a former naval base that is now a bustling port city in the Mekong Delta.

Mekong Delta's prime industry is food production, producing approximately half of Vietnam's total agricultural output. Local life for villages in the area revolves around the rivers and canals that make up the delta, so much so that people are more likely to transport by river than road.

Floating Fish Farm In nets and wire baskets under their houses, the villagers cultvate freshwater fish and shrimp - a major export product of the region.

Traditional workshops witness a step-by-step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming… while trying some yourself and listening to traditonal music.

Hand-rowing sampan enjoy what local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We will transfer to local transportaton to travel throughout the villages. Lunch at a riverside restaurant a Vietnamese 5-course lunch will be served. Please request in advance if you have a food allergy, you are a vegeterian, or you observe Halal.

Vinh Trang Ancient Pagoda, this is our last stop before driving back to Saigon. Vinh Trang is an ancient southern architechtural gem built in the middle of the 19th century. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old.

Return to your hotel around 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
