Welcome you to Can Gio Biosphere Reserve And Monkey Island Tour, after picking you up at your hotel and traveling to Can Gio District. As you know, Can Gio mangrove forest has located about 60km at south from HCM city, with 80.000 hectares of mangroves, water coconut, a hundred of flora, and fauna species … Now, let take 1 day to join it with us because this is a good destination to leave behind the bustling city and relax in the mangrove forest to enjoy fresh air, feel at ease with the river-breeze, glimpse the natural landscape, the beach, and monkeys living here.
Arriving at Can Gio, the first stop at “Monkey United,” you will have an opportunity to see and play with the multitude of long-tailed monkeys, and then, head to crocodile farm. Continue to wander through the Mangrove Forest, keep your eyes out of other wildlife among the lush greenery and calm water. Next, you will be transferred to speed boat to go through the jungle and the water ways, and to see the untouched scenery of Can Gio National Park. Beside your boat ride, you will visit the Vietnam War Base. In addition, you can take time to get experience the natural life and manage yourself in the forest.
At midday, you will have a lunch at Phuong Nam Restaurant – the popular destination among locals – to savor an authentic Vietnamese meal and to listen to Southern folk music together. After that, please feel free time for relaxing at the swimming pool or joining some activities before going to Can Gio Market. Then head to the Monkey Island which is the natural home for hundreds of monkeys. Learn about this region at Can Gio Museum, with different exhibits on Can Gio’s wildlife, biodiversity, and wartime history.
Ending the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. It will have been the time for you to reflect on this interesting tour and feel how memorial it would be!
