About this activity
Visit: Sun N' Sea Travel, 01 Dinh Le Street, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam

We'll embark on a cyclo for 2-hour round of Ho Chi Minh City, rolling around the city on a traditional three-wheeled bicycle with a carriage at the front for passengers. Drivers use pedal power to push us along, and gives us the opportunity to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of HCMC without the barrier of being trapped behind a car window (or the sound of a noisy engine!).

The ride leads up Hai Ba Trung just past the pink church to Tan Dinh market. You’re not really here to buy souvenirs or clothes, but to experience a genuine suburban Saigon wet market. This is where the local housewives come to do their daily shop and stop for gossip with their neighbours, making it a real “Vietnamese” experience.

Hop back on the cyclo and we'll ride toward Tao Dan Park before bidding our cyclos goodbye and enjoying a short walk to Saigon’s iconic and authentic Ben Thanh market, with its unmistakable clock tower, has long been a staple of the city and is not to be missed.

At the end of tour, you will be dropped at the Opera House to enjoy an-hour A O Show which brings you a sense of the charming beauty and richness of the Vietnamese cultural life in the countryside, in contrast to the nation’s increasing urbanization. The show is a unique mix of bamboo cirque, acrobatic acts, contemporary dance, and theatrical visual art. All in all, this quintessential blend of genres creates a unique stage language, which well captures the essence of Vietnam’s fascinating culture.

Lastly, enjoy the flavors of southern Vietnamese cuisine dinner at Hoa Tuc restaurant before returning to your hotel. Making great use of a historical location, Hoa Tuc was build, designed and furnished locally with custom made wrought iron furniture, cast iron lamps and pergolas. It boats a beautiful indoor seating area with original columns, a front terrace witha Paris Metro inspired roof and a secluded al fresco dining section to its side with creepers and greenery all around. Enough to make anyone forget the madness of the city while seating in the very heart of it.
