Stop At: Ben Thanh Market, Le Loi, Phuong Ben Thanh Quan 1, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam

The first stop is a 30+ year old Bot chien restaurant, where we will sample their famous “pan fried scrambled egg rice cake with dumplings”. After that mouthful, we move on to another tried-and-tested, three-decade old Bo la lot restaurant to sample grilled beef in wild betel leaves.
Our third stop is the Ho Thi Ky Flower Market and Cambodian Market, home to the best grilled banana girdle cake. Get hands on and grill the cake over charcoal yourself!
Next we head to the Ngo Gia Tu Old Apartment Building, home to a street food area and renowned dessert shop. Choose to eat Vietnamese fried pancakes at a Banh xeo stall or some coconut ice cream for dessert. We then move on to the long-standing Com tam restaurant known for its broken rice and grilled pork dish.
Finally, we visit the Xom Chieu Night Food Market and Vinh Khanh Snail Street to try a variety of dishes like stir-fried mud-creeper with coconut milk, steamed clams with lemongrass, grilled scallops with green onion oil, fertilized duck egg (if you’re feeling adventurous), and some cold local beers! If snails aren’t your thing, you can opt for barbeque from the Trung Son Food Area instead.
