Itinerary

Day 1: Cai Be Floating market, Mini-Cooking Class & Cycling

Stop At: Tiền Giang, Cái Bè, Cái Bè District, Tien Giang, Vietnam
7:30 a.m.: Pick up from your hotel. Depart to Tien Giang province with your Tiger tour guide.
9:45 a.m.: Arrive at the boat station, then take the big boat to cruise along the Tien River to:
• Visit the famous Cai Be floating market
• Enjoy fresh coconuts and tropical fruits on board
• Visit popped rice, coconut candy, and rice wine producers
• Visit a bee farm, enjoy Vietnamese tea, and join a local handicraft class
• Visit a tropical fruit garden and take a sampan ride on a small canal
• Enjoy traditional southern Vietnamese music
12:30 p.m.: We will drop off at the local house to have the delicious lunch after a mini cooking class. You can make yourselves the Banh xeo (Vietnamese pancake) or Cha Gio (Spring rolls), which will become one of your lunch. Try to make it best!
1:30 p.m.: After lunch and having a short rest, we will join in doing some light exercise. You can choose between walking or cycling along the quiet nearby village.
2:30 p.m.: Back to the boat station.
3:00 p.m.: Depart to Ben Tre province for the homestay. It will be 1 and a half-hour drive, you can have a short sleep to get some energy back.
4:30 p.m.: Arrive at the local homestay and check-in. You will have your free time until dinner. You can check out the village nearby by taking the bicycles or walking around to see the local fruit garden, flower garden, fish bond, see how locals take care of their garden. Or just simply lie down on the hammock to enjoy your peaceful moment ever.
6:30 p.m.: It’s time for dinner. Your food will be served in the middle of the garden with the sound of nature. It’s truly authentic.
7:30 p.m.: Free time at night. Enjoy your time staying away from hustle-bustle city.

Day 2: The Hidden Sights of Tien Giang through your eyes

Stop At: Tiền Giang, Cái Bè, Cái Bè District, Tien Giang, Vietnam
7:00 a.m.: Our tour guide will pick you up for the drive to Go Cong town, a beautiful small area with the nickname “land of dragon fruit”.
8:30 a.m.: Stop at a local ferry station for a drive to the other side of the river. After that, there will be the driver with a motorbike is waiting for you. Taking the motorbike to visit one of the Dragon fruit gardens, which is colorful through your eyes, have a quick stop to try the fruit and take pictures while farmers are purchasing goods.
Continue your trip by catching the ferry reach to Tan Thanh Island and cross the big river, follow your tour guide to know more about the famous land of beauty that a lot of Nguyen Dynasty concubines (Tu Du Queen, Nam Phuong Queen, etc.) came from.
Riding on narrow tracks, surrounded by a profusion of plants and everyday rural life, then visit a coconut processing plant, a home where the locals make brooms and mats and a home where they make roofing materials from water coconut leaves. You will be greeted warmly by the inhabitants, enjoy the fresh coconut juice at each house. Then a magical sampan rides along the river and through narrow channels that meandered under a vaulted ceiling of palm leaves and on to a beautiful riverside home for lunch. The menu will be depending on the day but we pretty sure that you can enjoy all those delicious foods, served in the beautiful tranquil garden, surrounded by the sounds of birds, fish popping up from a nearby pond. After lunch, you will have sometimes for a rest on some hammocks before driving back to Saigon.
2:00 p.m.: Depart for Ho Chi Minh city.
5:00 p.m.: Arrive at your hotel and finish 2 days 1 night with a lot of great memories.
