Your evening begins with a 5.45pm pick-up from your central Ho Chi Minh City hotel by private vehicle. After a short drive through the city, arrive at the water puppet theater and take your seats for the show.

Prepare to be entertained as you follow the age-old folk tales, played out by colorful wooden puppets on a water-filled stage. The traditional art form dates back to the 11th century and this 45-minute show is a perfect introduction, with dazzling costumes, skilled puppeteers, and a live orchestra accompaniment featuring typical Vietnamese instruments such as bamboo flutes and wooden bells.

After a show-stopping performance, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the docks, where you’ll board your cruise boat. Then, set sail along the illuminated waters of the Saigon River and admire the glittering skyline of Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, tuck into a delicious dinner, filled with tasty Vietnamese specialties, as you listen to live folk music.

After a scenic 1.5-hour cruise, return to the docks.
