We depart Brooke Street Pier (12 Franklin Wharf, Hobart) for all tours unless hotel/accommodation has been pre-arranged prior to departure. Please be @ this address 5-10 minutes before the departure time to ensure a smooth and timely departure.

Stop At: Richmond Bridge, Richmond, Clarence, Greater Hobart, Tasmania

Is a beautiful visual landscape that showcases a well preserved look at houses of the early colonial period from Tasmania’s history. We walk along the banks of the Coal River, up along the Richmond Bridge (the oldest convict bridge in Australia *1823) and finish at the famous Richmond Tasting House (a local delicatessen).

Stop At: Pooley Wines, Richmond, Clarence, Greater Hobart, Tasmania

Belmont House Tasting Room. The Pooley family is Tasmania’s only 3rd generation family wine business, consistently winning major awards and trophies for their entire range, with their tasting room being located on the hill where all the stone for Richmond was quarried from, and I personally had a hand in planting some of the current Butchers Hill Vineyard. Their Margaret Pooley Tribute Riesling is a standout of the Estate. Up to 4 wines tasted.

Stop At: Frogmore Creek Cellar Door & Restaurant

This estate occupies a standout location on one of the most bucolic wine drives in Australia, and house’s the famous Wendover Bottles of Sparkling. Literally Tasmanian history preserved inside glass containers. The floor gives a complex look at the history of Tasmanian wine in general. They also produce some pretty good wine, the Estate Shiraz being a sleeping giant. Up to 4 wines tasted.

Stop At: Coal River Farm, Cambridge, Clarence, Greater Hobart, Tasmania

The literal interpretation of paddock to plate in action where you can pick your own fruit (payable by you-guest on weight) and you can get up close with some farm animals if you’re not afraid. We sit down for a cheese and chocolate tasting, where the process of cheese production gets explained for you. Up to 3-4 cheeses + chocolates tasted.
