Bruny Island Overnight Explorer – 2 days of Pure Indulgence including Accommodation, Nature and Food 

Day 1 - Coffee & Snack at the Bruny Island Gateway Cafe on us….

Enjoy the Ferry journey to Bruny Island, crossing the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, one of Tasmania's most popular waterways boasting 300km of coastlines around the island & channel.

The Mavista Falls walk takes you into the Tree Fern forests and water fall. A very easy walk…. Or you can replace this with the optional extra: Boat Cruise by Pennicott Wilderness Journeys 10:30am – 2pm. 

We then head over Mount Mangana to Lunawanna, through rainforests, experience amazing scenery across the island.

Stop for a late lunch at Bruny Island Premium Wines. Join a wine tasting, enjoy selecting from the extensive menu which focusses on local produce, and a glass of wine of your choice. Select a bottle of Bruny Island Premium Wine to take back to your accommodation. (1 bottle per couple). 

Visit the South Bruny National Park and experience your private Tour of the Cape Bruny Lighthouse.

Evening dining is at Hotel Bruny who are world renowned for providing a wonderful Seafood Chowder, Slow Cooked local lamb and many other hearty dishes. Wash this down with a Bruny Island Cider or local Beer.

Your guide will escort you to your 4.5 Star accommodation after your evening meal. We partner with Bruny Island Escapes and offer carefully selected properties to ensure all your needs are met. The property selected for you is dependent on your group size.

Day 2

Breakfast is supplied by us and prepared by you in your own kitchen. Depart by 9am.

Bush walk to either Grass point (very easy 1hour return - suitable for children) 

OR 2½ hours return to Fluted Cape (medium grade walk)

Walks can be changed to suit your ability and should be discussed prior to the tour commencing. The Fluted Cape walk allows you to experience dry forests, whaling history and evidence still seen today. Enjoy spectacular views towards the Tasman Peninsula. White Wallaby are seen on this walk most days.

Along the way we visit the local chocolate makers, then onto the Neck Wildlife Zone – with amazing views across Adventure Bay towards Fluted Cape, Tasman Peninsula and d’Entrecasteaux Channel. Pay respect to the Nuenonne People, the original residents of Bruny Island. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the local cheese and beer makers at Bruny Island Cheese Co, and sit down to a feed of freshly shucked oysters at Get Shucked Oyster Bar , visit Bruny Island Honey before heading back to Hobart to be dropped at your accomodation.
