Our Cascade History and Brewery Experience steps back, through Cascade’s proud history, and then take you behind the sandstone façade to view the workings of this unique brewery.

Here our guides explain the ingredients and craft behind our iconic Tasmanian beers, finishing with a great tasting experience. This experience is only for guests aged 16 or over and includes a significant number of stairs. The beer tasting is only for guests over 18 years of age.

Our Experience depart from the Cascade Visitor Centre, across the road from the Brewery, and we recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure time.

  • Please note, the Brewery Tour enters a working production facility, it is for over 16s only and it is a safety requirement that all guests wear the appropriate clothing and have not consumed alcohol prior to the Tour.
  • All skin must be covered from the waist down. Enclosed, flat shoes must be worn and no loose jewellery is permitted. If you are travelling in shorts or a dress, we have trousers and shoes that are available for our guests to borrow free of charge. We also have lockers free of charge for our tour guests.
  • Photography is restricted to outside the brewery.
  • No alcohol is permitted to be consumed prior to the tour
  • No walking aids are permitted on tour.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

Overall, it was an interesting experience. A cools history to the building and beer. The tour guide, Lucinda was fantastic. The best part of the tour was the beer tasting afterward. The beer is really good and you get to taste quite a bit.
