Our tour started out a bit rocky as there were no directions on how to get to the loading zone from the cruise ship terminal. Further there was very little coordination once we found out where we needed to be. We milled about with a couple dozen other equally bewildered travelers and watched several buses load and leave without us. Finally, we were welcomed aboard the bus by our driver Zac who did a fine job narrating Hobart and its history. However, given the late start, each stop felt rushed, especially at the Royal Gardens. So rocky delayed start, good driver, limited time at any one stop equals three stars in our book.

Our guide Nigel was great! He was friendly, informative and curteous. We were able to see many places in Hobart and his gave us a good idea of places to follow up with subsequent visits. A great introduction to the city . Nigel shared a grat deal of local history and kept us all entertained and happy. Highly recommended.

Really good value, tour guide was great. Suited us perfectly as we were only there for a short time being on a cruise, gives you a bit of time before boarding the ship to do your own thing. Would recommend for anyone who wants a quick rundown and sightseeing of Hobart

We were taken to some unexpected places like historic women's prison. Stopped at botanical garden but due to weddings parts were blocked off. However we also saw some beautiful sights and guide had a good sense of humor.

Three of us took this tour and agreed that the experience could have been better. The commentary seemed hesitant at times, and the tour guide was not always conscious of the fact that some of the participants may not be familiar with Australian expressions. The last stop on the tour was a 45 minute visit to the Botanical Gardens. This was not enough time to see the gardens so it felt more like a filler rather than an informative stop.
