About this activity
Your evening tour begins with pickup from your central Hoi An hotel at 4.00pm and a short transfer to the port by minivan. Set sail along the Thu Bon River on a riverboat and cruise to the mouth of the river where it meets the Cua Dai Sea.
Then, transfer to a traditional bamboo basket boat and join the evening fishermen along the coast. Try your hand at rowing the unique vessel, then get hands-on as you help the local fishermen and learn about round net and cast net fishing. Climb back aboard the riverboat in time to watch the sunset over Hoi An and indulge in a cool beer or soft drink as you glide back to the port.
Arrive back at the port around 7pm, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

This was the highlight of our trip. The guide and crew were soon fantastic. I haven't laughed that much in a long time!
This was an unexpected, fun, laugh a minute tour. We did think we would have a sedate basket ride but the guys were great and very aware of whether we were enjoying the spinning and rocking on the baskets. We had a laugh a minute and our grandchildren at home were very impressed that we did this tour. The staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time, a highlight of our tour.
