3-Day Central Vietnam Tour from Hoi An: Hue, Vinh Moc, Phong Nha Paradise Cave

Day 1: Hoi An – Hue

Hue is a place that offers many cultural treasures. There is no other place in Vietnam that has as many original historical remnants as this ancient capital. On this tour, we will visit the most famous landmarks situated within Hue’s borders, such as: Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu pagoda, Khai Dinh Tomb and Dong Ba Riverside Market. Along the North coast of Da Nang to the top of Hai Van Pass where bunkers remaining from the war can be explored. We will stay overnight in Hue. 

Day 2: Hue – Quang Tri

We will depart from Hue and head for the Quang Tri Province. Along the way, we will stop at a number of different battle sites to see La Vang Church, Quang Tri Citadel, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge and Seventeenth Parallel - the former borderline between North and South Vietnam during the war. In the afternoon, we will visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels where North Vietnamese guerilla fighters lived and fought. We will continue on our way to Dong Hoi to check-in hotel and relax for the night.

Day 3: Dong Hoi – Paradise Cave – Hoi An

The day will begin with breakfast before driving to Paradise Cave. Discovered by the British Caving Research Association in 2005, the cave is 31 kilometers long, the longest dry cave in Asia. According to cavers, the deeper one journey into the cave, the more one feels the wells of heavenly clarity all around. There are a series of white crystal stalactites resembling glass pillars and many other spectacular formations. Visitors can see stalactite pillars, each dozens of meters in diameter and grandiose rock arches, created over millions of years.
