Basket Boat and Buffalo Adventure from Hoi An

Begin the tour with a pickup from your Hoi An hotel. From there, you will be transferred to a rice paddy farm where you can meet the local farmer and buffalo. After a short introduction, you will be ready for a ride on the back of your buffalo! In Vietnam, buffalos that are ridden are affectionately referred to as Buffalo Manual Wheels.

The experience will continue as you travel to a local fishing village to learn a few things about the local fishing industry. Afterwards, briefly rest at a local home with a cup of tea as the guide gives you a briefing on the upcoming basket boat adventure. They will advise of how to get the correct balance and also how to paddle in the most efficient way. Once you are confident in your skills, you will be given the opportunity to row the round basket boat on your own! End the day with a light snack at a local family's abode before heading back to your Hoi An accommodation.
