About this activity

We will start our trip with a stop at the fishing market of Cam Ha. There, you will see many fishing boats, stalls and local people laughing and selling fresh fish. Upon arrival to My Son, we will have traditional lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant. We will stay around 1,5 hours to visit the mysterious and beautiful area of My Son. Located in the heart of a beautiful valley and surrounded by high mountains ranges My Son was named a Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1999. My Son sanctuary is a complex of temples constructed by the Cham artisans under the Champa Kingdom dynasty. Through thousands of years and disasters, My Son sanctuary still exists and proves that the architecture and culture of Champa Kingdom are wonderful. Originally built with wood, they were completely destroyed by fire in the 6th century and restored in the 7th century by Sambhuvarman who rebuilt the temples with locally made bricks. Up to the 13th century, more than 70 similar temples were built, establishing My Son as a sanctuary of Hinduism in the Champa Kingdom.

We will then go to the Thu Bon River and enjoy a relaxing boat trip back to Hoi An with so much fresh air and lovely countryside view.
