Exploring Bho Hoong village & Co Tu Ethnic minority (Dong Giang)

Tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An, depart to Bho Hoong village.

Arrive in Zara village. Take a visit a local house and talk to a former patriarch who can tell you about the Co Tu culture significance as well as show you how to play Gong and a local music instrument.

Next stop is Zara handicraft house in Nam Giang (80km). Here the Co Tu are really proud of their beautiful embroidered products that delivers their lifestyle, their beliefs and the local landscapes. Don’t forget to join your hand to weave like a local.

The next destination is BhoHong cultural village. BhoHoong is a beautiful village of Co Tu ethnic community. The traditional rituals and lifestyles of the Co Tu has remained untouched over the time that it is truly one of the most authentic hill tribes in Vietnam. Take your time to trek around the village and take photos.

Have a delicious local lunch in Guol house.

After lunch, the locals show you the traditional Gong dance and join the dance as your wish.

We also have chance to shoot crossbow with the help of the strong Co Tu men.

A local guide will lead us around villages. Depart from Guol house, visit Ta vat tree, passing a Homestay to a local primary school, visit But Nga village and a kindergarten, climb to mountain paths for sightseeing (in good weather), turning back to Guol house.

Do a short trek to Grang waterfall and immerse in freshwater surrounded by old growth forest.

Return to Hoi An. Hop off the coach. And, it’s time to say goodbye!
