8.00: A driver and tour guide picks you up at the hotel. Firstly drive west to

Thanh Ha Pottery village. Here, a stroll into the village and you will witness how local crafts, such as bowls, jars, baskets. Then, head to

Tra Que vegetable village where you will walk to the vegetable gardens to learn about herbs and other spices in Vietnamese culinary. Enjoy a break with traditional drink made from local herbal. After that, you move on a small road bypassing rice fields and shrimp farms to

Cam Thanh. Here you can absorb the view of the resplendent villages, and

take a basket boat to view nipa palm forest closely. Continue to drive to

Tan An beach where you enjoy swimming in crystal water and lunch at local restaurant in the beach.

Start the afternoon with an hour of driving down Truong Giang River, cross several bridges to

Cam Kim Island. Here you will visit to a village that half of villagers have retained the traditional handicraft of making mats,

Tra Nhieu fishing village where you can have fun with a fisherman by

trying to cast a fishing-net for fish, shrimp, and crab, lastly Kim Bong carpentry village. Take a quick

visit to carving workshop, boat building site, family making noodles, and rice paper in Kim Bong. At the end of afternoon, return to the hotel.

BRIEF ITINERARY

8.00 - 8.45: Drive west to Thanh Ha Pottery village, walk to visit Thanh Hai pottery village.

8.45-9.15: Move to Tra Que vegetable village, visit vegetable garden and enjoy traditional drinks made from local herbal.

9.15-9.45: Drive southeast through rice field, peaceful villages to Cam Thanh nipa forest area.

9.45-10.15: Basket boat to visit nipa palm forest.

10.15-11.00: Drive south to Tan An beach.

11.00-13.30: Swimming, lunch, break in the beach. 1

3.30-14.30: Drive north along Truong Giang river to Cam Kim Island.

14.30-16.00: Visit Dong Binh village where half of villagers make sleeping mat, have fun with a fisherman by trying to cast a fishing-net for fish, shrimp, and crab in Tra Nhieu fishing village.

16.00-16.45: Drive to Kim Bong carpentry village, pay visits to families that make, noodle & rice paper, rice wine and carving workshop.

16.45-17.00: Drive back to your hotel. End of the trip
