10-Day Small Group Tour to Hong Kong - Beijing - Xi'an - Shanghai

Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong
Upon arrival, please take a taxi or the airport shuttle bus to the hotel we have booked for you by yourself. Hong Kong is very easy to navigate, so we design your Hong Kong tours on your own. We only reserve the hotel accommodation with daily breakfasts in Hong Kong.

Day 2: Hong Kong(B)
A free day for you.
Day 3: Hong Kong - Beijing (B)
Today, you will head for the airport by shuttle bus or taxi on your own, and then catch a flight to Beijing. The air ticket will be booked for you in advance. Upon arrival in Beijing, our guide will be waiting for you at the airport, and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the day.
Overnight: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars)- the former Sheraton
Day 4: Beijing (B+L)
Visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City this morning. An a la carte lunch with Peking duck. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven. The evening will be highlighted by a lovely Chinese Kung Fu Show.
Day 5: Beijing (B)
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Round trip cable car is included. Lunch is on your own arrangement. Take photo of Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way back to the urban area. The whole day's sightseeing will come to an end after seeing a local market.
Day 6: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L)
Visit the Summer Palace and the old Hutong alleys including Chinese Paper Cutting. Then take a flight to Xi'an and check in at the hotel.
Overnight: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5 star)
Day 7: Xi'an (B+L+D)
Visit the Terracotta Army Museum, a special home cooked lunch with a local family, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show and a dumpling dinner. (Tips: the dance show is available from Apr. to Nov.)
Day 8: Xi'an - Shanghai (B+L)
Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, visit Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, and then fly to Shanghai and check in at the hotel.
Overnight: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (5 stars) or Similar
Day 9: Shanghai (B+L)
Visit Shanghai Museum, the Yu Garden and its nearby traditional bazaar. An a la carte farewell lunch will be served at a popular local restaurant. After lunch, visit the former French Concession, the Bund and take a Huangpu River cruise. Upon returning to the hotel your guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.
Day 10: Shanghai (B)
Airport drop-off is not included today. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule.
