Kalaupapa Experience

This is an opportunity to see the remote community of Kalaupapa, a stunningly beautiful place that represents a significant chapter in Hawaii history. Father Damien and Mother Marianne Cope have been canonized by the Catholic Church; two saints from the isolated peninsula. Guests fly in comfort to Kalaupapa where they are met by a Damien Tour guide and taken on a comprehensive ground tour. There are several stops along the way, including a lovely picnic at the east end of Kalawao with dramatic views, and at the church Father Damien built. Pick up in Waikiki is at approximately 7:00 a.m.; return is at approximately 4:00 p.m Infants under 24 months fly free in the lap of a parent.
