The North Shore Photo Tour

1 day
About this activity
We offer this specialty tour for those wishing to experience the infamous North Shore of Oahu. You will photograph the day's adventures that include pristine beaches, pounding shore breaks, local daredevils, the green sea turtle, and much more. We begin our day at Green World Coffee Farm, a small local farm that produces 100% Hawaiian coffee. We'll give you the opportunity to take some photographs while enjoying a cup of joe, and even make sure you get a photo next to the world-famous Haleiwa town sign. Next, we will head over to Waimea Bay, a legendary surf spot, influential in the birth of big wave surfing. The panoramic views are amazing. Afterwards, we will take you to Waimea Falls. Taking a trolley ride to the falls for photographs, we then give you enough time to enjoy the beautiful meandering path weaving through the flora and lush tropical jungle back to the entrance. You may even be lucky enough to spot a rare native Hawaiian bird, so bring your zoom on this tour! Next, we will cruise over to Sunset Beach or Banzai Pipeline in search of the perfect wave. And if there is such a thing as a perfect wave, you'll likely find it on Oahu's North Shore. Stretching for more than 7 miles, the beaches of the North Shore host the world's premier surfing competitions during the peak winter months, including the Super Bowl of wave riding and the Vans Triple Crown of surfing. These massive waves can sometimes swell up to forty feet! The big, glassy winter waves of this legendary surf mecca attract the best surfers in the world. Oahu's North Shore is also home to a flourishing food truck scene, and this is where we will enjoy our lunch. Right on the outskirts of Haleiwa, a hui (a lot) of food trucks serving everything from garlic shrimp, fresh fish, and jambalaya to Nutella crepes and acai bowls ~ Oh, so ono! Walking off the meal through the charming town of Haleiwa, a town filled with local style and country ambiance as well as cool surf shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Some say if you want to see what Hawaii looked like fifty years ago, visit the North Shore! Before we head back to Waikiki, we will be sure to take you to get a shave ice topping off the day filled of terrific memories, and fantastic photos!
